Kindergarten

The school gym is crowded with parents and kids.
I wish I was them wish they could be me.
They’re having a play, I’m in the next scene
“Oh geez” mommy, what do they mean?

I want to run, there’s no where to hide
Mommy say’s big boy’s don’t cry.
She said not to worry, I’ve no words to say
If I do this for her, I’ll make her day

Just climb up on the stage and take a small bow
“But mommy, why am I dressed like a cow?”
