Death is the hunter,
Fiendishly laughing with delight,
I’m unaware and do not take flight,
Life is filled with much goodness,
but equal is pain.
Now I know of the Hunter,
there is no consolation
What did I gain…
I’ll regret when you know,
That finally he has won.
For who will Love you as I have,
My dearest son.
