The SHareCon Countdown Calendar creates a snapshot of our fandom. It takes the place of our hard copy zine. Starting ten days before the con, once a day, we’ll reveal new stories, poems, art, games, and anything our creative fans send us. Ideally, new vids will go to the con’s premiere vid show.
Submissions should be short, 7,500 words or less (with some wiggle room). Submissions can be slash, gen, and on any topic that includes our favorite boys or characters from the show. Other than length, there are no limitations. We’ll review your work as we do for the Advent Calendar, that is, checking for typos or errors.
Please note that we cannot accept any works created solely by generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as vids created by using generative AI through the internet with minimum input from the vidder. Nor will we accept stories, prose works, or art made by feeding generative AI prompts that are only “edited” by the human author. However, images or vids using local AI built into photo/video programs on your computer used as tools to clean pictures or enhance resolution or include special effects are acceptable.
Deadline for submissions is August 1st.
The Countdown will start on September 8th and will end on the 17th, the night before the con. Ten days of fun! Your work can be reposted elsewhere when SHareCon 2026 is over on September 20th.
