This is one of my all time favorite depictions of our boys. No eye contact, lost in thoughts, foreheads almost touching. I love that Hutch has slid down the tree just enough to be a little below Starsky’s head. All so beautifully rendered.
Thanks so much for your extremely kind comment! That cover came about as a collaboration between Keri and me. She told me what she was thinking and this came right to mind and then came together nearly effortlessly. I credit her completely for the inspiration. She’s such an amazing person and I was so fortunate to be able to work with her. 🙂
