The reason for the name is two fold. First is because some people always state for my most risque pictures I don’t show enough, they always say, “Well, he just needs to move that hand just a little,” or “turn this way just a bit”. HA well, you won’t get that with this one either, but Starsky played along to help tease all the ladies. And I can hear you all say, “Yes! drop the Sheet.”
The second is really from a one or two line story I kept hearing in my head while thinking of this picture and drawing. These are the lines:
Starsky: “So you want to see what surprise I have for you?”
Hutch: “Yes, Starsk, for the luv of all my sanity, would you please drop the sheet?”
So there you have it, that is what I have working around my brain. Though I am not sure if Starsky actually ever did “Drop the Sheet”.
