David Michael Starsky’s inward struggles he’s feeling after the very recent passing of his beloved Terri.

Drifting along as we usually do,
In a boat without a Captain, I am the crew
Gone off alone again, alas I pretend
Could not let them know
How much time that I spend
Drifting

Sea can you help me,
In humble request
Take my sorrow
Down to your depths

Come morning, I’m sure
Or so that it seems
This anguish I feel, was only a dream

But strongly I’m standing
By the shore in the sand

And I’m running, I’m running
As fast as I can
