Haikus based on the Death In A Different Place episode.
These Haikus are based on Sugar, the Green Parrot nite club and John Blaine.
Sugar coos onstage,
channeling Bette in lights.
Gay dudes cruise and laugh.
Sugar asks the crowd;
Is she Marilyn tonight?
Or Bette perhaps?
Beaded curtains sway,
shining, as the gay dudes dance.
Sugar exhales smoke.
Outside, neon bleeds.
The gay boys gather inside,
Sugar Plum sparkles. . .
A hot summer night.
Gay boys pressing close inside,
A man stumbles. . . lost
