There is no one stronger than someone who refuses to lose their self-respect.

Knowledge isn’t power, but what you do with it is.

Family is important, but then so are true friends.

Beige is boring.

Think once before answering, twice before saying yes and three times before breaking a promise.

A gun can own you as easily as you own it.

Don’t let your mouth get you into anything it can’t get you out of. (I should have that one tattooed on the backside of my eyelids)

What’s lawful, honest or right ain’t always in agreement.

Never judge a person by their appearance and don’t let them judge you by yours.

If you’re thinking it’s the easy way, odds are you’re wrong. (I forget that one way too many times)

And most important of all – just because something awful happened to a 15 year old girl in a school basement, doesn’t mean someone loved didn’t come from it.
