There is someone I have looked for
in a thousand places.
There is someone I have searched for
in a million faces.
Whose face do I see
on the quiet of tomorrow’s dreams?
Beautiful empath, childhood’s lover,
lived for me; I live, too.
It is here and it is now
our wedding with time, savior and healer.
Tender diviner, sharer of wonder,
Shaman, mystery man,
From the mirror of our soul you call.
This miracle I will follow.
Lead me on then,
Beloved.
