Ring, click. “Hello, you have reached Kenneth Hutchinson and David Starsky. We can’t come to the phone right now, but leave a message and we’ll get back to you. Or try looking for us in The Pitts restaurant.”
“Hi, this is Robert from Chase. Congratulations on your closing day! I know Hutch will enjoy his backyard garden, and Starsky will be happy with the in-ground pool. Bye!” Click.
Hutch played the message as they hung their jackets in their soon to be vacated rental apartment. “Congratulations from the bank. Well I guess Me and Thee are really homeowners now, Babe!”
