Should he or shouldn’t he?

Hutch could kiss Starsky right now. As he comes up from this dip, he could just lean in and kiss him. He’ll play it off as a gag if it goes wrong.
Hutch should kiss Starsky. If only to see if it’s as good as he’s fantasized about since the first time they met.
They are unnecessarily close, here in Dobey’s office.
Hutch would kiss Starsky. But Starsky must see something in Hutch’s eyes. Becauseas Starsky guides Hutch up, he kisses him first.
And Hutch returns the kiss.
It’s even better than his fantasy.
And all he’s ever wanted.
