Starsky’s home.
Thanks to Susan.

Starsky calls him Dr. Hutchinson.
He starts that after he gets home from the hospital to hear Hutch talking about “positive outcomes” and calling aspirins “anti-pyretics.” He sticks with it after Hutch starts lecturing him on macrobiotics and hides his stash of Hershey bars. And he makes a vow not to stop after Hutch makes them leave Huggy’s just as Starsky’s about to get a girl’s number for the first time since the shooting.
But late at night, when Hutch crawls carefully into his bed, lying half-upright so Starsky can rest against him, Starsky whispers into the darkness, “Thanks, Hutch.”
