Hurry, time has dug its heels in
Racing for the tape
We have no prayer of winning not
Even catching up
But hurry, lover
Hurry, our hearts are strong
We only hope now that we
Finish together
Having run so many races
In the past and bursting through
Although the odds against us
Although the obstacles at
Every turn seek to trip us
If not for me and thee
How could the story end but
Hand in hand we hurry, lover
Hurry.
