Nonograms are logic puzzles. The goal is to color the correct boxes in the grid in order to reveal a picture. The challenge is figuring out which the correct boxes are!
The boxes that need to be colored form “groups” within each row or column. A group contains one or more colored box(es) without free spaces between them. Different groups in the same row or column are always separated by at least one blank box.
Any row or column can contain one group, more than one, or none at all.
The numbers on the outside of the grid represent these groups. Each number indicates the number of colored boxes in one group. When a row or column contains more than one group, the groups are listed in order (from left to right for rows, from top to bottom for columns).
