A visit to one of Starsky & Hutch’s locations.

The bench Starsky sits on in Holmby Park while waiting to meet Rosey Malone still looks like it did in the episode. It’s a beautiful bench covered in Moroccan patterned tile. I took this picture while visiting LA during the 2013 Surcon event, and the overhanging pergola was covered in blooming wisteria. Breathtaking. The park also looks much as it did during the episode, with the exception of a children’s playground that’s been added. The track Starsky and Hutch run on in the ep is still there.

You can appreciate the colors in the archive, but even in grayscale in the original zine, the pattern was beautiful.
