The Bond is an amateur, nonprofit publication produced solely for entertainment purposes and sharing with fellow fans of Starsky and Hutch. No infringement on the rights of anyone holding ownership of the Starsky and Hutch characters, names, or stories is intended.

The Claddagh symbol, which affectionately symbolizes for us “The Bond,” stands for “Love, Loyalty and Friendship.”

It was those attributes between the characters of Starsky and Hutch that drew the three of us to them, then to one another.

Linda B.: Acknowledgments are always hard to make, but I guess I’ll get on with it anyway, since this has to go to print sometime, and I can hear Brit nagging me already. Just kidding, Brit! First, I need to thank my family, who, despite thinking I’m nuts, puts up with me spending hours on-line, reading and discussing S&H, as well as writing stories to share. Secondly, to Paul M. Glaser and David Soul for giving us such wonderful characters to develop lives for. To all the friends I’ve made through S&H over the years, I send a big thank you. Your positive comments and insatiable appetite for stories keep us writing. I want to send a special thank you to Barb D., who somehow manages to find the time to read and edit not only my stories, but many other S&H writers as well. If it weren’t for you, Barb, the stories would be sorely lacking. Thanks for the finishing touches. Here’s sending a big hug your way. And lastly, I want to remember two wonderful friends whom I never would have known without S&H. Distance may keep us apart, but sharing a bond brings us together across the miles. Brit and Tanya—you have not only shared your stories and advice with me, but your lives as well. I honor your friendship. Here’s to love, loyalty and friendship, may they last forever.

TibbieB: I wish to thank my very dear friends, Brit and Linda B. for actually letting me participate with them in the production of our first zine together (waving wildly at you both), and for encouraging me to write “just one more.” You guys are the best! My special thanks to my betareader and good buddy, Donna E, who always believes in me; and my beta reader, pal, Sue (the Blintz), who is a truly wonderful writer in her own right. Thanks to Barb D. for her expert editing and help in pulling this together. Of course, I can’t forget my darling, tolerant husband, Mark, who not only puts up with my love for Starsky & Hutch and fandom, but actually encourages my writing!
