Hutch POV

Take me home and tuck me in
What a wearying day it has been.
I need the shelter of your arms
Keeping me safe in a world of harm.

I don’t need to say anything
Your assessing gaze will surely bring
A guiding hand, a tug at my sleeve
A silent nod that says that we must leave.

I let you lead, I float along
My head is filled with a sappy song.
No need to think, no need for fear
When one who loves me is so near.

Take me home and tuck me in.
Let your precious love begin
To thaw me out down to my bones,
Cover me up then take me home.
