With the coiling of the snake
and the playing of the tiger,
Love is friendship turned to fire.
Because our lives were inexorably entwined,
bound with the cordage of desire and time,
ardor sparked.
Lambent tongues of flame
flicked dry kindling and ignited.
Flash point?
Your blood heat’s fervor.
Wildfire spread
my willing thighs further.
I was seized by white hot pleasure.
I could feel your pulse,
a devouring flame. Consume me.
Call my name
until we are spent embers.
Our bodies entwined
glow as gold by candlelight.
